The scenic drive from the Southern Motorway to Top of the Hill takes just 10 minutes, and we are only 25 minutes from downtown Auckland or the international airport. There is even a scenic ferry from Pine Harbour to Auckland city centre.
Top of the Hill is suitable for singles, couples and groups travelling together.
The guest wing has 3 luxuriously large bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom, and floor to ceiling landscape windows encompassing scenes of picture postcard beauty. Amenities include a guest kitchen with dish washer, fridge, microwave, electric fry pan, griller, toaster, table and chairs, washing machine, iron and ironing board.
A country homestay isn't complete without some friendly farm animals and guests are welcome to meet our Highland cattle Hokey Pokey and Icecream and our cute Kune Kune pigs Cleo and Patra.
The views from Top of the Hill (yes, it really is right at the top) are nothing short of breath-taking in every direction and we've presented a sample of these on our vista page, including a spectacular aerial shot.
 In recognition of our responsibility to the environment and to further enhance the pleasure of your stay, we are endorsed as Kiwi Green Certified, using only eco-friendly products in our cleaning. If you're concerned about the impact of your travelling, we're also able to offer the facility of offsetting your carbon footprint through Kiwi Green Regeneration.
Trevor also will plant a native tree on the farm for every long haul travelling couple.
